Dr. Swigger completed her B.A. at University of Texas at Austin majoring in Plan II. M.A. at UT Austin in American Studies and Ph.D. from the same. Dissertation titled: "History is Bunk": Historical Memories at Henry Ford's Greenfield Village. Interests include Public History, Urban and Suburban History, Place and Memory.
