Who Am I?
I am originally from New York, but was raised in Tampa, Florida; I am a city girl at heart. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology with a minor in statistics at Florida State University in Tallahassee. Currently, I am working on my MBA here at WCU. Throughout my career I’ve worked as a consultant, writer and small business owner. All of which was focused on helping people improve themselves and succeed in their endeavors.
Why Western?
My family brought me to Western and my community keeps me here. After living the grind of big city life, Western was a welcomed change of pace. WCU is more than a beautiful campus. It’s a place where students are able to learn and grow through hands-on experiences with a personal touch. The feeling of a close knit community is something new to me and different from experiences with “big city life”. I chose Western for my master’s program and the next step in my career because I know here everyone is valued and supported.
