This research guide serves as a starting point for chemistry research.  Use Getting Started to discover where to find good overviews and quick information.  Find Books/Media directs you to a page about searching and browsing in the catalog (for books and videos) while Find Articles will help you figure out how to search and browse our databases and electronic journals (for scholarly articles, newspaper items, etc.).  Find Articles also takes you to a list of the “best” databases for chemistry.

If you need chemistry-specific information, check out the pages regarding common chemical compound-related topics such as Physical & Chemical Properties, Hazardous Materials and Safety Data, and Spectra and Spectral DataHow Do I covers common questions such as “How do I cite a source?” “How do I get things not at Hunter Library?” as well as chemistry-related questions like “How do I found out about Chemical Abstracts Registry Numbers?”

Finally, for a little fun, be sure to check out the WCU Sci Blog.
