WCU is a University of North Carolina Campus
Message from the Director
Hello to our newest Catamounts!
We are pleased you will be joining the Western family this fall and look forward to your visit with us this summer. Orientation will serve as a bridge for you and your family in making the transition to life at Western. You will have the opportunity to meet other new students and their parents, Student Orientation Counselors, and many of Western's faculty and staff. Our individual academic advisement staff will assist you in the registration process and you will return home with your fall schedule. All that you'll need to do when you get home is pack for the move!
Plan to bring your family so that they can get acquainted with Western and learn about all the opportunities for them to get involved as well as the demands and concerns that accompany campus life.
We'll be looking for you soon as we share 1 1/2 jam-packed days with you and your family as you take that first step into your future.
Sincerely,

Tammy Haskett ('84)
Director of Orientation Programs
