Meet Gina Mace and other transfer students
1. Complete an online application and submit $40 non-refundable fee.
2. Request official transcripts* from all colleges and universities attended. You must have a cumulative 2.0 G.P.A. or better on all coursework at other colleges and be eligible to return to the college attended most recently.
3. Request official high school transcripts*, except under these conditions:
- you have earned an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science Degree, or
- you are 24 years of age or older
4. Request official SAT or ACT scores*, unless you have completed 30 hours of college-level work.
5. Fulfill the following high school Minimum Course Requirements (MCR):
- English, four units
- Social Studies, two units (one in US History)
- Mathematics, four units (algebra I, algebra II, geometry and an advanced math beyond algebra II)
- Science, three units (life science, physical science, and laboratory course)
- Two units of a language other than English
If you are missing one or more of these requirements, you must complete either (1) an associate degree, (2) the NC Community College 44-hour General Education Core with grades of "c" or better, or (3) at least six semester hours of transferable credit in each of the following subject areas:
- English
- Math
- Science
- Social Science
- Foreign Language (note the language requirement is for students graduating high school in Spring 2004 and thereafter)
