Who am I?
I was born in Bellmore, N.Y., but since my family relocated to Wilmington, N.C. when I was only 10, I’m a Carolinian at heart. I first visited Western on a summer college trip, and I immediately fell in love with the mountains and the family-friendly atmosphere. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in communication with a concentration in public relations. Along the way, I performed as a member of Western’s renowned “Pride of the Mountains” marching band and served in a professional women’s music organization.

Why Western?
I love working in the Admission Office and sharing all the great things about Western with new and prospective students. And why wouldn’t I? I was very comfortable in the small classes and enjoyed wonderful relationships with my professors. Everyone was always willing to help in guiding me toward my goals and provided me with plenty of “hands-on” learning opportunities. My experiences at Western have made me confident and successful both professionally and personally. Go Cats!
