Course Designation on Transcript
Faculty members interested in using the service-learning pedagogy effectively are invited to submit an application and course syllabus for review. Applications (Word) should be submitted during a semester preceding the one in which the course will be taught. The Service-Learning Course Review Council (PDF) will focus on the service-learning component in relation to the course (or course section) in its entirety as described in the syllabus. The review will be based on seven criteria (PDF). Several Courses (Word) received the designation in 2008.
