Legislators’ School for Youth Leadership Development (LSYLD)
The Legislators' School sets out to identify and foster potential leaders from many of the state's rising eighth-through-eleventh graders.

Held on the WCU campus, Teachers of Tomorrow (TOT) is a program for middle and high school students who are interested in exploring teaching as a career.

Rural-Urban Exchange
The Rural-Urban Exchange Program provides the opportunity for WCU elementary, middle grades, birth-to-kindergarten or special education majors to participate in an exchange with North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University students.
